Partying with our friend Sean!

On Friday we met up with our friends Jenny, Steven and their 6-month old son, Sean. The boys had fun having lunch together at Whole Foods and then playing at the new playground in Central Park.

Last day of school!

Caleb's last day at The River School was June 30th. He was very sad to leave school but got one last dance with a girlfriend before he left!

Nana and Pops hanging with the boys

Pops does yoga with CJ and Nana rocks CM to sleep!

Park time with Sammy and sunglasses!

Caleb spent some time recently in the park with his friend Sammy! Sammy's mom is having another baby any day now ... and its going to be a boy too!

Then CJ put on Mommy's sunglasses to keep the sun out of his eyes. Full coverage!

Big Brother

Caleb is a wonderful big brother. He loves to give Connor kisses ... and his pacifier!

Reading girls

A few weekends ago Mommy's Reading friends came to visit the boys. Here is Caleb enjoying some quality time with everyone!

Father's Day ... Take 2!

Daddy is the luckiest dad ever ... he got two Father's Day celebrations with his boys this year! The second outing was a Saturday afternoon on Arthur Avenue in The Bronx going back to his roots. He and Caleb ate oysters at a sidewalk cafe, checked out meats in the windows and checked out the neighborhood shops.

Caleb likes chips

Daddy brought home some potato chips last week and Caleb decided he wanted to count how many chips there were in the bag so he dumped them on the living room floor! Thankfully we have a dustbuster!

Hanging around with Connor

Here is Connor Marc just hanging around the house in his bouncy seat. But he doesn't stay put for long! He likes a change of scenery ... like a ride in the swing with a "gentle" push from his big brother, Caleb James!

Happy Father's Day!

So what did the "burger king" do for Father's Day? He went to Bobby's Burger Palace in Paramus, NJ with his boys! Not only did he get a chance to feast on burgers but he showed the boys the house where he grew up in Hackensack! What a day for the king ...

Mimi and Granddad visit

Mimi and Granddad surprised us with a visit on Saturday night! Caleb enjoyed playing baseball with Granddad. Thankfully, Caleb didn't pull a Peter Brady and brake any vases. Mom always says ... don't play ball in the house!

Silly boys

These brothers laugh a lot!

Connor laughs at Mommy's funny faces.

Caleb laughs as the water fountain gets him wet!

Brothers

Caleb James is enjoying being a big brother. He gives many a "love tap" to his little brother, Connor Marc.

Connor is born!!!!!!

little Connor is born at 7:21 am on June 4th (his due date! mommy is always on time...) 7lb 11oz. Mommy is a star and handled another long labor incredibly well. We're so happy that the family is growing!

Classic Caleb gets his first glimpse of the little dude. He's thinking.. "hmmm- if i'm the shortstop, this little guy could probably be my second basemen and we can turn a lot of double plays together!"

"on second thought, maybe he will be my catcher when i pitch. either way, i'm the boss and i'll teach this guy what life is all about. Can't wait to bring him home!"

mommy and her boys.... for every boy she has, she gets a girls weekend away!

Blue Smoke ... yummy!

Daddy is always teaching Caleb new lessons. Last night's lesson ... how to eat a rib from Blue Smoke. Yummy!!

Caleb at the playground

Caleb and Carla love spending time at the playground and yesterday Mommy was able to join in the fun since she's done working and waiting for baby #2 to arrive! CJ loves climbing up to the slide and then sliding down. And of course he can't get enough of the sandbox.

Quack, quack

Caleb likes duckies and he loves playing with his duckie balloon from his good friend, Blake's, first birthday party. The duckie doesn't quite float in the air like it used to but its still a good time!

Nana, Pops and Great Uncle Bobby visit the Big Apple!

Nana, Pops and Great Uncle Bob visited the Big Apple last weekend and we all went to Central Park on Sunday morning to play with the doggies and watch baseball. Caleb's favorite sport is baseball. He and Daddy watch the Yankees all the time. He even has his own baseball that we loves playing with! Daddy is trying to make him a left-handed pitcher ... fastest way to the Major Leagues!

Caleb James, Rock Star

Rock Star, Caleb James, tunes up his guitar for his next performance of Row, Row, Row your Boat!

Storytime with Pops

Pops arrived in town today ... back to his summer pied-a-terre 72 steps from ground level! He joined us for dinner and while he was here, Caleb asked him to read a story. First he said he didn't know how to read ... then CJ caught him skipping pages!

What a weekend ... and its not over yet!

Caleb James has had quite the busy weekend spending time with friends and family. On Friday night, he had his little friend Tigger over for dinner. Would you believe that Caleb has a friend smaller than him? And he can walk!

Then on Saturday we headed out to NJ for Caleb's cousin Trey's 1st birthday! We had a great time in Trey's backyard celebrating his big milestone.

Oh, and of course CJ had his fill of summer bbq treats - corndogs (an entire one!) and corn on the cob.

On Sunday Caleb was visited by his Uncle Kevin, Aunt Natasha and Natasha's sister Sandhia. They brought him some neat gifts (including his very own cell phone so he doesn't need to borrow Dada's anymore and a Sponge Bob t-shirt) and Shake Shack for dinner!

A boy and his flash cards

As you can see, Caleb adores his flash cards. So much he's screaming with excitement!

A boy and his lemon

Tart is his preferred taste ... as you can see here. CJ likes eating lemons ... straight up!

Uncle Kevin's visit

Last Sunday, Uncle Kevin took the bus down from Boston to hang with Caleb James! They had a blast together. We spent a few hours in Central Park and played ball. CJ tried out his bat for the first time. He's pretty good. He may be on to something as his new favorite toy is the baseball Dad brought home from Mets stadium. He caught it during batting practice before the game!
